The Webb family profited from the famous gold rush and built one of the largest emporiums west of the Blue Mountains.
In 1880 Edmund Tom Webb bought Littlebourne as a base for his family and community actions – he served on Council for 43 years as Mayor for five terms. He and his wife Fanny built the 1880s gold rush wing at Littlebourne for their family which happily increased to seven children.
What to expect
Lie back on your private sofa and contemplate the comforts of the world from the serene bay window setting. The original coal fireplace remains, along with stunning painted wooden ceiling. The enormous 1930s antique family wardrobe leads to an ensuite surrounded by garden and filled with natural light.
